Ladybird
Ladybirds are called Ladybugs in the US. In Europe they are alse referred to as lady beetles.
Lemur (Ring-tailed)
Ring-tailed lemurs are meticulously clean animals. After feeding they groom themselves thoroughly, using its comb-like teeth and the long claw on the second toe of its hind foot.
Llama
Llamas communicate with each other through a variety of ear, tail and body postures. They also have a range of vocalisations including soft hums and a shrill alarm call to warn others of danger.
Lynx (Eurasian)
During the summer, the Eurasian lynx has a relatively short, reddish or brown coat, which is replaced by a much thicker silver-grey to greyish-brown coat during winter.
