So far with your help we have raised an amazing £5,910.83

£3,600 will mean our Field Investigations Officer can spend up to 30 days in the countryside gathering evidence

£6,400 will allow us to produce an 'animal parliament' on our website that will ensure MSPs know the voters' wishes.

£8,000 will allow us to commission one of the world's most respected animal welfare specialists to produce a detailed study of the humaneness of snares and their alternatives.

Major donors - £50,000 will enable OneKind to mount a widespread publicity campaign to ensure our politicians are left in no doubt to the strength of public support for a snare-free country.

What are snares?

Snares are thin wire nooses used by some shooting estates and farmers to trap animals deemed to be ‘pests’ such as foxes and rabbits. In reality though, any animal is at risk, including protected wild animals such as badgers and otters and even our beloved pet cats and dogs.

HumanKind. AnimalKind. OneKind.

Together we can make this vision of a snare-free Scotland a reality

Dog says pick meWildlife legislation is currently being considered in the Scottish Parliament. This gives us a real chance to make Scotland a snare-free nation and lead the way for the rest of the UK.

We need to build a strong movement of people like you and me, the compassionate majority, to ensure that our views and values shape the future. Join our movement by sending a personalised animail to all your friends and family. You’ll then receive updates on other exciting ways you can get involved.
