OneKind Communities

The most significant difference we can make to improve the lives of all animals, in the shortest period of time, is to change the way human beings behave.

Schoolchildren supporting OneKind

This is why, in our centenary year of 2012, we are planning to launch OneKind Communities; an innovative new way to help us get even more people contributing to the welfare of animals.

OneKind wants to recognise and support those who are actively respecting and caring for animals, and who wish to share their ideas and inspire others.
You decide!

We want OneKind Communities to be driven, inspired and created by you. We want to give you the power to address the needs of animals within your community.

For this reason we want you to tell us how best we can support you in creating positive change in your community.

  • You might be part of a group campaigning to protect a local animal and want to enlist more support
  • You might want to offer advice and information about more ethical ways to shop, dress or eat?
  • You might be interested in getting involved in a local project, but don’t know where to start?
  • You might want to hold a fundraiser for OneKind, but need some help and ideas?

How do I join a OneKind Community?

The chances are you are already part of a OneKind Community, perhaps without realising it. This could be within your family, your workplace, classroom or an organisation you belong to.

All we ask is that any OneKind Community signs up to abide by the following three pledges:

  • OneKind Community members respect people and all animals.
  • OneKind Community members recognise that all animals are sentient.
  • OneKind Community members show this by finding positive ways to improve the lives of all animals.

Sign up here to register your interest. When OneKind Communities launches in 2012 we will send you an information pack on getting started. There will also be downloadable materials and a forum on our website to help you start campaigning, educating and fundraising.
