Donate your unwanted CDs

We can turn CD's into cash in a variety of ways.

Unfortunately, as a relatively small charity, we cannot cover the postage costs of sending CD's to our office, as much as we would like to.  Although if you live locally, please don’t be afraid to pop in and drop them off (our address is below).

A much better solution is to start a collection in your own workplace, perhaps at a local school, library or shop. When you have amassed at least 100 CD's we will arrange to collect them from you for free. With your help we can gather a greater number of CD's and raise more funds to help animals.

You can download publicity materials, including a poster and flyers from here.

To maximise the funds we can raise from these CD's we are asking people to stick to the following criteria, whenever possible.

What kind of CDs to send

  • We would like original CD’s (i.e. not copies) with a barcode.
  • The original booklet should be included and be in good condition without scribbled, torn or missing pages.
  • The CD’s should be in reasonably good condition, if possible.
  • We would prefer not to recieve CD Singles, EPs or promotional items. Likewise if you could avoid covermount CD’s, i.e. those given away with newspapers or magazines, that would be helpful. But any genre is acceptable from comedy to soundtracks and from Abba to Zappa.
