Advocates for Animals launched the groundbreaking new campaign, 'OneKind', which recognised, celebrated and promoted the fact that animals have feelings.

Advocates for Animals intention was to create a movement of people who live an animal-friendly lifestyle as the mainstream, in the same way that green living and recycling or Fairtrade were mainstream lifestyle choices for millions of people.

Celebrity supporters

The launch of the OneKind movement was accompanied by a series of images and advertisements featuring celebrities alongside images of animals and the strapline: ‘We’re not that different’. The celebrities featured were musician Brian May, comedian Johnny Vegas, TV presenter Paul O’Grady, singer and presenter Alesha Dixon and poet Benjamin Zephaniah.
